US Navy: Iran won't be allowed to close Hormuz

Vice Adm. Kevin Cosgriff , who is the commander of the 5th Fleet, said that the US would not allow Iran to blog the Gulf.
In opinion, the US officials should stop issuing such statement. It will only benefit the oil producing Arabs and will create panic in the international market. Iran does not have the resource to block Hormuz. We know Iran's naval capabilities. Iran has not been able to upgrade its naval ships due to embargo.
