The Bush Administration still supports Musharraf

Political Pundits who have been predicting that Musharraf role has finished in the present setup will be disappointed to know that the Bush Administration still supports him.
Richard Boucher, US Assistant Secretary of State, who looks after the South Asian Affairs at the State Department, made it clear that Musharraf will play an important role in the future.

Local press in Pakistan reported that Nawaz Sharif, Musharraf's arch enemy has toned down his rhetoric. It looks he will accept the authority of Musharraf.
