Commentary: Pakistan lawyers in fresh protests

Media reports say that lawyers are threatening to come out on the streets if judges are not restored as per their demands. They issued this threat after former prime minister Nawaz Sharif told media what coalition partners want to do on this burning issue. The coalition partners have come up with a bizarre plan to resolve the judicial crisis facing Pakistan. According to the plan , they will reinstate the sacked judges while keeping the judges appointed by Pervez Musharraf.

Any fool can see that it will result in two chief justices in the country. It looks that the coalition government will come to an end soon. Though Mr. Zardari is making hectic efforts to save his party's government. He is approaching Pervez Musharraf ‘s allies to save his party's government. Let us wait and watch the events happening in Pakistan.
