How did Nawaz bring down Musharraf to its knees?

Nawaz has landed in Pakistan.
The question, how did he manage to bring down Musharraf to its knees?
Media reports say that his Saudi friends compelled Islamabad to allow him to return and take part in active politics. Analysts say that Islamabad promised to Riyadh they would not allow both ex-prime ministers take part in politics.
But when Islamabad allowed Ms. Bhutto to return and take part in politics. Riyadh displayed anger and called it a breach of agreement.
Now Islamabad had no choice but to allow him to return . They cannot afford to further anger Riyadh because it would hurt their economic relationship.
