Commentary: Pakistan Shift Could Curtail Drone Strikes

ERIC SCHMITT and DAVID E. SANGER reveals in their article "Pakistan Shift Could Curtail Drone Strikes" that Pervez Musharraf allowed Americans to carry out attacks against the militants inside Pakistan. This is a very startling disclosure. They are of the opinion that Americans will be not able to carry out attacks in future because of change of government in Pakistan.
They are absolutely right. The new Pakistan government will not allow them to carry out the attacks.
Pakistani newspaper ‘The News' reports today that American had put pressure on the victorious Pakistan People's Party to form a coalition government with Pervez Musharraf's old allies. But Mr.Zardari has rebuffed the American demand. Now he is trying to form a government with Nawaz's PML-N.
