Commenatry: Afghan imbroglio paints grim picture for US

A Pentagon reports says that Afghan insurgency is rising. The report says that Taliban has regrouped after their defeat. The report tells us that whatever the Bush Administration was feeding to American Public was pack of lies. These officials were boasting that crush the insurgency and bring Afghan under the control of Karzai. Now we see that national government in Kabul remains incapable of extending its writ on other parts of the country.

The NATO and American commanders are saying they were not able to defeat Taliban because of lack of resources. They say the need more force.

In my opinion, American and western powers did not pay attention to the construction of Afghanistan after the defeat of Taliban. They hatched a plan to destabilize Pakistan. Pakistani Intelligence agencies sensed their evil plan and used their influence to regroup Taliban to drive Americans out of the Afghan. They will succeed in doing because Americans are stuck in struck. They cannot send troops from Iraq to Afghans to help NATO and ISAF.
